The new politburo over at St. Stan’s is set with the very foreseen election of John Baras, William Bialczak, Stanley Novak, Joe Rudawski, Richard Lapinski and Janice Merzweiler.
Baras, Bialczak and Rudawski were the holdout Bozek sycophants from the former Board. After the old Board deadlocked over firing Bozek, the dissolution/election strategy worked to dump the sensible members.
Catholics can take heart from the fact that the deposed Board members have the last laugh, having been reconciled to the Church and having had their excommunications lifted. To paraphrase our Lord: what doth it profit a man to gain a spot on the St. Stan’s Board in exchange for his soul?
