Reading HSMom’s entry on the Chartres Pilgrimage led me to the entry at the Remnant:

At the present time there

is a remnant left…

On Pilgrimage for Church and Country

We ask Remnant website visitors for their patience over the next couple of weeks as a number of The Remnant’s team, including our webmaster, will be in France. On Pentecost weekend we will be walking with 15,000 traditional Catholics from all over the world on the grand Pilgrimage of Notre Dame de Chrétienté to Chartres, France. We will update our website from Europe when possible but, of course, it is difficult to do so as frequently as we normally do.

I would ask readers to please keep Michael Matt, John Rao, Chris Ferrara, Fr. McDonald and 70 fellow Americans in their prayers during this difficult 3-day, 70-mile walking pilgrimage across France. This will be the 18th time The Remnant has organized the U.S. Chapter on the Pilgrimage to Chartres, and we will of course remember all the readers of The Remnant in our prayers. We will also do our best to represent all Catholic Americans on the road to Chartres. America is in such desperate straights, as we all know; so we will remember our country in a special way this year, asking God to save America and give His children the grace to survive whatever persecution of all things Christian may be on the horizon.

The generous readers of this newspaper, who sponsored nearly 20 young American pilgrims this year, will also be remembered every day during the Pilgrimage as promised.

I would also ask for your patience with telephone and email orders as well, since these may be processed a little less efficiently during this time as our staff here at home will be limited. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Empress of the Americas, pray for us, our Church and our nation at war. MJM
