Prayer to guardian angel. I pray over my boys every day before they leave for school. They also carry a G.A. medallion in their pockets. I have to keep extras (some times its a Miraculous Medal, St. Gerard, or a "Jesus Loves Me" ring or rubber bracelet–we work w/what we have) b/c boys lose things, although we usually find the lost medallions within a few days. Then we pray to St. Anthony.
Dies Irae.
"Thank you, dear Jesus, for the continued blessings you give."
"Jesus I trust in you, Jesus I trust in you, Jesus I trust in you."I do like Peggy's (tomorrow is the feast of the Guardian Angels on the ordinary calendar).
OH MY! Has this really happened? YIKES! And here mine are occasionally counting down the SHORT 3 years before my oldest can drive. (Well, if we let him LOL!)I'm sure LOTS of prayers to her Guardian Angel to protect her!
P.S. BTW: I meant that Dies Irae in all jest. (You know… when the oldest gets wheels, ie. "freedom of the roads"). It was only afterward that I saw it could be of bad taste. And that's why I should just stick to reading and not commenting. Sigh.
No offense taken. I have a sense of humor. Strange, perhaps, but there.
A no brainer: St. Christopher.(Medals and statues magnetized to the dash are available.)
Thanks for that self-esteem boost, Dad. 😉
my Jesus, mercy.
