Yesterday’s Mass and celebration at the Oratory was a great success. Thank you, Archbishop Carlson, for your visit. Above is a picture from the reception after Mass, with the Archbishop greeting some of the many children in attendance.

In addition to the Archbishop, the Archdiocese was well-represented by the Chancellor, seminarians, and representatives from the Office of Communications. Monsignor Schmitz, Canon Avis and Mother Caroline-Marie joined the Institute’s regular presence at the Oratory, which is unique among the Institute’s apostolates in having representatives of all of the various charisms of the Institute in one place– priests, oblates, those in priestly formation, sisters and lay members. And the church was filled with Catholic faithful grateful for the Archbishop’s visit and the 25 year presence of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

Here is to the next 25 x 25 years. And more.
