OK, that does it. Where does one find Chartreuse? I haven't seen it at our local Schnuck's, and something tells me that Dirt Cheap Liquors doesn't stock it.

Friar Tuck's carries it, although it is always good to call ahead. I think they have three locations around St. Louis and a few in Southern Illinois. God bless the Carthusians! St. Bruno, Ora Pro Nobis.

I agree with the Timman. The first sip kind of knocks your socks off and for those ladies with gentle sensibilities I think the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th sips are a little rough. But, by the time you are at the end of your glass of liquid Christmas Trees you are holding it up for a refill. Well, at least I am. I know Timman is too. Oh, and DuLac90.

I am positive that Charteuse is mentioned more on this blog than the Carthusians who make it. Liquer sales have dropped worldwide except Chartreuse which has increased. I am wondering if St. Louis is to credit. This sends one of my priest friends over the edge but you can mix it with Cole.
