Today is the Vigil of Christmas, the vigil of our salvation. Jesus Christ is to be born for us! The Word is made Flesh, and will dwell among us!
This is the answer to all the machinations and schemes–pitiful and useless ones at that– of the faithless and apostate wolves in sheep’s clothing. Despite their plans, and perhaps through them (so much is the omnipotence of our loving God), Christ is victorious. Now, then, and forever.
The song above is an Irish song, the words of which are read first in English by the great Burgess Meredith, and then the beauty of the singing and musicianship of the Chieftains. Enjoy.
Our Lord is Coming Soon!

Me own Irish mither was a Chieftains fan not to be mistaken for the Kansas City Chiefs & Patrick Mahomes. She would have been a fan of his as well. She was a ’39 graduate of Rosati-Kain as was her older sister.
Their brother went to McBride. Look now what has happened to Catholicism in the City. Rosati closed along with St. Mary’s. Both reopened as socialist entities with not a vestige of religion remaining, only the name to fool contributors.
