Pray that the Holy Father will at long last consecrate Russia to Mary’s Immaculate Heart as she requested.

Yanukovitch was not an innocent victim. He was an evil front for Russia.—There are two evils at work here. It is not “the good, the bad, and the ugly”. I’m not so much lauding Putin as a great guy as much as lauding his ability to mail the situation in the West, which he absolutely does here.
This thread is absolutely nuts. Putin is killing innocent people and you applaud him. If this is what your “trad” version of Catholicism teaches you, then your “religion” is the worst perversion of our Catholic faith I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been around a lot longer than you Tim man.

The emotionalism, bordering on tears, displayed here and just about everywhere (including the entire Congress – 100% of it) in support of Ukraine and against Russia and Putin, Putin, Putin is a stunner to me … I have never seen anything like it in my lifetime. Ukraine. The most corrupt nation on earth … Ukraine. Why should I care about them? I just don’t. And I really don’t want to risk world ending nuclear war for the Azov Nazi pervert Zelenski.

This whole thing reminds me of the preface to Covid carnage, when the announcement was made by President Trump: “We are going to shut down the economy for 15 days to slow the spread” … and I was filled with dread – America would never be the same, and I knew it. The announcement was lightly made – shut down the economy, restart it in 15 days, no worries …but the suffering in real life, unimaginable.
Those who lightly call for total war against Russia with “no off-ramps” have simply forgotten, perhaps don’t care, where this course for war without off-ramps, without doubt and with total certainty will take us, if we don’t change, pronto.
