Well, I get that. However, I know a guy, 30s, several young kids, was intubated with Covid for three months. He survived. It was definitely a miracle. I just wonder–if he had gotten the shot, would he not have had such a dire outcome?

That thing is immoral and deadly all in one. If, and I mean IF, the gene serum derived from babies experimented on against their will and then killed reduced his symptoms on this occasion, here is what follows: he has staked his life on the backs of murdered children and he faces a lifelong, greatly-enhanced risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots and a host of other deadly conditions.

I’m not making any judgement on his subjective moral culpability, but objectively, it is evil. Participation in grave moral evil. Supporting the big lie. And endangering one’s life in violation of the Fifth Commandment.

Well, that’s your take.

That’s also the take of the Vatican document you linked to. It does not support your position at all.
– The gravest evil falls on the producers.
– The lesser evil falls on the consumers.
– It is incumbent to find alternative therapeutics.

“…the lawfulness of the use of these vaccines should not be misinterpreted as a declaration of the lawfulness of their production, marketing and use, but is to be understood as being a passive material cooperation and, in its mildest and remotest sense, also active, morally justified as an extrema ratio due to the necessity to provide for the good of one’s children and of the people who come in contact with the children (pregnant women)…”
Not lesser evil….”lawfulness”. Your position would make it immoral to shop at CVS. If there isn’t any other pharmacy around for medicines for you and your family, you may shop there without sin as the cooperation is remote passive material.

Actually, there has to be a corresponding good to bring the principle of double effect into play, and the injection had to be shown to be the only reasonable way to address the disease. Here, the clot shot doesn’t work. It actually damaged you. And the disease is not normally serious, let alone fatal. It’s like taking the injection to avoid an ingrown toenail. They sometimes can get infected and you could possibly die.

*damages, not damaged.

“Firstly, one must consider morally illicit every form of formal cooperation (sharing the evil intention) in the action of those who have performed a voluntary abortion, which in turn has allowed the retrieval of foetal tissues, required for the preparation of vaccines. Therefore, whoever – regardless of the category to which he belongs — cooperates in some way, sharing its intention, to the performance of a voluntary abortion with the aim of producing the above-mentioned vaccines, participates, in actuality, in the same moral evil as the person who has performed that abortion. Such participation would also take place in the case where someone, sharing the intention of the abortion, refrains from denouncing or criticizing this illicit action, although having the moral duty to do so (passive formal cooperation).”

Your Vatican link says (in part): “Firstly, one must consider morally illicit every form of formal cooperation …”
So be it. You prove the link to aborted babies, I stop purchasing the product based on aborted babies. CVS does not dictate my religion.

That said, the modern medical complex is so often part of the culture of death.

Whatever happened to “the end doesn’t justify the means”?

MRNA, with messages designed by Big Pharma for delivery to my DNA to change its God-given function is a complete non-starter for me.
I’ll keep what God gave me, intact and undefiled. So … yes, I am thankful to be free and clean of the Pharma juice. And anyone who thinks they can make that decision for me and my family are seriously mistaken.

I agree, Timman, now. In 2020, this was not clear. Now Covid has turned into a head-cold. The vaccines were “shown” to be effective. They were only marginally so. In the first wave, it was a really bad flu. We over-reacted, for sure.

That’s why I don’t judge anyone’s subjective culpability, truly
